I’ve watched this video no less than eight times since I first found it a couple of days ago and each time I watch it, there are tears in my eyes before the end of it, including three times today. The lyrics are beautiful and the talent of the two artists singing it is beyond words.
I think the tears are a combination of the beautiful song, the fact that a lot of the lyrics accurately describe dreams I’ve had for my son since before he was born eight years ago as well as dreams I have for his little sister who is coming in a couple of months, and the fact that it is “Black History Month” and all of the emotions specific focuses during this month usually involve! LOL!
Anyhoo, I haven’t posted to this blog in a LONG time, but I wanted to share this video in this space. It would be wonderful if I could find this broadway show on DVD!
